You guys. This last friday I put up my first art show everrrr! Also in one of my favorite spaces, the Seattle Cookie Counter.
While working for Chelsea in 2015, I got some shots of her ice cream and pies and I loved the shots! When I got that drip off the ice cream cone...it might just be my favorite shot I've ever done.
For the past five years I've been playing with macro photography and bringing my camera whenever friends or family are making delicious food. This summer I loved the texture of local fruits I bought and played with my diy lightbox.
For the art show I painted some ornate frames with acrylics and rhinestoned a few because...Why not? It just seemed perfect in the space, too.
You can visit these in person at the Cookie Counter for at least the next month! These customized frames range from $55-$75, and starting this next week you can find prints, ice cream themed towels, and notecards for sale as well. Did I mention the treats? Oh gosh, the trip's worth it just for those.
Thanks for lookin!
